‘Happy to Give, Better to Share’

It is Wonjin’s promise for greater future.

Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic and Korea NGO Rainbow had medical volunteering on April 27th. Wonjin and Rainbow have made the decision to contribute free surgery for Seo Hee-Soo, who is cleft lip and Palate patient in Gwang-myeong-si, Gyeong-ki-do. She was one of the students where Korea NGO Rainbow conducted the school bullying prevention campaign for middle school at Gywang-myeong-si.

Seo Hee-Soo’s mother said, “The scar wasn’t so bad at first but it became bigger as she grew up. Her lips wouldn’t close, so she lost self-esteem and did not want to take any photos. It was so sad to see her suffering as a mother.”

Hee-Soo had her first surgery when she was 4 months old but as she grew up; the scar expanded and made deformation on the area.

Dr. Park Won Jin, the representative doctor said, “There are many cases where Cleft Lip and Palate patients suffer from nose shape deformation as well, however, Hee-soo’s nose shape is normal, so this surgery will not be a difficult one. Even just a scar surgery will improve her look so much better than now.”

On May 2nd, the scar correction surgery at the bottom of Hee-soo’s nose to philtrum to lip was done. As Hee-soo is still a minor, the regular check-up and any necessary additional surgery was promised by Dr. Park since she is still growing.

Wonjin Plastic surgery wishes Seo Hee-soo’s happiness and good recovery.

“With the best skill and aesthetic technique,
WONJIN Plastic Surgery Clinic will cheer you on your wonderful future”
