Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic (Representative Park Wonjin) received the Medical Korea 2013 award from the Ministry of Health & Welfare

at Asia’s largest international medical tourism conference, ‘Global Healthcare & Medical Tourism Conference’ for attracting the most foreign

patients. This is the 2nd time Wonjin has received this prestigious award.

Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic attended the conference hosted by the Korea Health Industry Development Institute held on April 9th~11th at the

COEX Grand Ballroom, Medical Korea 2013 Global Healthcare award ceremony. 

This ceremony focused on the regions of the Middle East, Southeast Asia, CIS with an aim to create strategic relations. The attendees included 600 representatives from 30 countries, 50 representatives from 40 press companies, 26 people from 10 countries visiting Korea to observe hospitals.

This was the largest scale event with 250 business meetings held and 41 companies spread over 64 booths.

Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic started with China, and then attracted patients from Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and has become known as ‘a great plastic surgery clinic.’ Each year, the number of foreign patients has increased as well. A representative from Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic states, “this came about not due to marketingpromotion, but qualitative satisfaction through medical service.” This clinic received the same award

in the 2011 iteration of the Medical Korea award ceremony.

Representative Park Wonjin of Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic states, “it is an honor to receive this award in such a grand location.” And “we believe

this award was received due to our patients’ high standards and hard work. As can be seen with our name spreading by word of mouth,

our languages and culture may be different, but our advanced skills are being recognized internationally.”

He continued, “we will not get complacent after this award and will continue to spread awareness of Korean medical service globally with

integrity.”
