The losses of the elastic tissue in the
skin with age cause the skin to hang loosely. Aging can vary depending on the
face and body part. However, the skin around eyes is more noticeable and can
bring about changes in impressions.
Droopy eyes, wrinkles, fine lines can make
your entire face look tired or old impression. Droopy eyes can causes poor
eyesight and also cause wrinkles on the forehead and glabella area to using
forehead muscles instead of eye opening muscle. In those cases, ‘Upper and
Lower Blepharoplasty’ is recommended to improve both cosmetic and functional
problem.
Upper blepharoplasty is a procedure to
remove skin and to add or remove fat from the eyelids. During surgery, the
surgeon cuts along the creases of your eyelids to trim sagging skin and muscle
and remove excess fat. A reason for undergoing an upper blepharoplasty is to
reduce the appearance of aging.
As our understanding of the aesthetic and
anatomic sequelae of aging that the skin under the eyes gets bulky and develops
dark circles. Perform ‘Lower Blepharoplasty’ can lead an enormously positive
improvement in the appearance of the eyes and the entire face.
Since middle-aged eye plastic surgery
should not only be a cosmetic concern but also an improvement in fuction, prior
consultation with an experienced plastic surgeon to understand the thickness
and condition of each skin tissue and the degree of sagging of the skin, and to
determine the appropriate surgery.
