Membership Terms & Conditions

[Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic Terms & Conditions for On-line Membership]
The purpose of these Terms & Conditions is to regulate matters pertaining to the conditions and procedures for using the services provided by the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic (hereinafter referred to as ‘the company') and other necessary matters in compliance with the provisions of the Republic of Korea’s Telecommunications Business Act and its enforcement ordinance.

Article 1 (Purpose, etc.)
① The purpose of Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic (http://en.parkwonjin.co.kr) User Terms & Conditions (hereinafter referred to as "Terms & Conditions") is to regulate the respective rights, obligations and responsibilities of the member and the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic pertaining to the member’s usage of internet related services provided by Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic (hereinafter referred to as "services").

② Once an individual applying to become a member clicks the “Register” button after completing the specified procedures determined by the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic, the individual will be regarded as having expressed consent to these Terms & Conditions. Other matters pertaining to the rights, obligations and responsibilities of the member and the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic that has not been stipulated in these Terms & Conditions shall be governed in accordance with the relevant laws of the Republic of Korea such as the Telecommunications Business Act and conventional business practices.

Article 2 (Definition of member)
A "member" refers to a person who has logged on to the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic website and registered as an on-line member of the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic in accordance with the Terms & Conditions, and who receives the services provided by the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic.

Article 3 (Member registration)
① An individual who wishes to become a member must input the required member information according to the registration format provided by the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic and click the "Register" button to submit the application for membership registration.

② Once an individual has applied for membership registration in accordance with paragraph 1, the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic will register the individual as a member under the condition that the applicant does not belong to any of the following cases.

1. Cases where the individual applying for registration has previously lost membership eligibility prior to Article 6-3 of these Terms & Conditions. Note, however, that exceptions shall be made if three years has passed since the applicant lost eligibility under the conditions described in Article 6-3 and the applicant has received permission to reapply for registration by the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic.

2. In cases where the applicant has falsified or omitted information or provided erroneous information in the registration

3. In other cases where it is determined that there are significant technological difficulties on the part of Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic that impede membership registration

③ The membership registration contract has enter into effect at the time the registration consent of Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic is received by the registration applicant.

④ In the event of changes to the content of the membership information provided by the member in paragraph 1, the member must immediately revise the information to reflect the changes.

Article 4 (Provision of services and changes in services)
① Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic provides the following services to its members.
1. Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic new e-mailing service
2. Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic on-line consultation room /pre-scheduled user appointment service
3. Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic feature sections and content services for on-line members
4. Various other services provided by Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic in partnership with other companies

② The Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic must notify its members of the anticipated changes in the contents of the services and the date of the provision of services in accordance with the method stipulated in Article 7-2, and may implement changes in the provision of services stipulated in paragraph 1.

Article 5 (Suspension of services)
① In the event that information communication equipment such as computers require repairs, inspections or replacements or experience malfunctions or there is a disruption in communications, the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic may temporarily suspend its provision of services, and the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic may completely terminate current services in cases where the company replaces existing services with new services or in other cases where there are other suitable reasons for the termination.

② In cases where the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic terminates its services in accordance with paragraph 1, the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic must notify members of the termination in accordance with the method stipulated in Article 7-2. However, exceptions shall be made in cases where the services has been terminated due to reasons beyond the control of the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic (such as disk malfunctions or system shut-downs not attributable to the neglect or intention of the system administrator) that preclude the possibility of providing advance notification.

Article 6 (Membership withdrawal and loss of eligibility, etc.)
① Members may request the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic at any time to cancel membership registration (membership withdrawal), and the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic shall implement procedures to cancel the membership as requested immediately upon receiving the request from the member.

② If a member belongs to any of the following cases, the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic may restrict, suspend or terminate the member’s membership eligibility using suitable methods.

1. In cases where the member has provided false information at the time of applying for registration.

2. In cases where the member obstructs another individual’s usage of the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic website, or threatens to disrupt order in electronic transactions through the unauthorized usage of information, etc.

3. In cases where the member uses Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic website to engage in behavior or activities that are prohibited by law or the provisions of these Terms & Conditions or that are contrary to public order and morals.

③ In cases where the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic has decided to revoke a member’s membership eligibility, the membership registration will be cancelled. In such cases, the company shall notify the member in question prior to cancelling membership registration and provide an opportunity to appeal the decision.

Article 7 (Notification to members)
① In cases where the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic needs to send a notification to a specific individual member, the clinic may use the e-mail address that the member has provided to the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic.

② In cases where the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic needs to send a notification to a non-specific group of multiple members, the clinic may post the notification on the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic bulletin board for 1 week or more in lieu of sending individual notifications.

Article 8 (Protection of members’ personal information)
Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic shall make all necessary efforts to protect the personal information of its members, including membership registration information, in accordance with the provisions of the relevant laws. Measures to protect members’ personal information shall be implemented in accordance with the relevant laws and the “Personal Information Protection Policy” established by the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic.

Article 9 (Obligations of Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic)
① The Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic shall not engage in activities that are prohibited by law or these Terms & Conditions or are contrary to public order and morals, and shall make all necessary efforts to provide continual and stable services in accordance with the provisions of these Terms & Conditions.

② The Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic shall implement a security system to protect members’ personal information (including credit information) to ensure that members can safely use its internet services.

③ The Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic shall not send advertising e-mail for commercial purposes against the wishes of any member.

Article 10 (Obligations pertaining to members’ IDs and passwords)
① With the exception of cases in which the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic is to be held accountable in accordance with relevant laws or the provisions of the company’s "Personal Information Protection Policy," members are responsible for managing their personal member ID and password.

② Members must not permit any third party to use their personal ID or password.

③ In the event that a member becomes aware that the member’s personal ID and password is used by an unauthorized individual or any other third party, the member must immediately notify the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic, and must comply with any instructions issued by the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic.

Article 11 (Obligations of members)
① Members are prohibited from performing any of the following actions.

1. Providing false information at the time of applying for membership or registering changes in membership information

2. Changing information posted by the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic

3. Actions that violate the moral rights or intellectual property rights of the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic or any other third party or obstructs the work of the clinic or third party

4. Unauthorized usage of another member’s ID

5. Sending junk mail, spam mail, chain letters, or e-mails encouraging membership in a pyramid organization, sending e-mails containing profanity or violent messages, videos, or audio content, etc., and other actions involving the disclosure or posting of information that is contrary to public order and morals.

6. Transmitting or posting information (such as computer programs, etc.) that the relevant laws prohibited from being transmitted or posted.

7. Posting text or sending e-mail while disguising or misrepresenting oneself as an employee of the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic or as the internet service administrator for the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic or through the unauthorized usage of another individual’s ID.

8. Posting or disseminating through email material that includes software virus or other computer codes, files or programs designed with the intent to destroy or obstruct the normal operation of computer software, hardware, or electronic communications equipment.

9. Actions or behavior harassing to other members such as stalking, etc.

10. Collecting, storing or disclosing the personal information of other members without consent

11. Using the services of the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic to engage in activities in pursuit of profit, through means such as posting or transmitting via spam mail advertisements or promotions targeting an unspecified group of multiple recipients

12. Activities that violate the Terms & Conditions for the services provided by the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic or other regulations regarding the usage of services

② If a member has engaged in any of the activities described in paragraph 1, the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic may restrict, suspend or cancel the member’s membership eligibility using appropriate methods in accordance with the provisions of Article 6 Paragraphs 2 and 3 of the Terms & Conditions.
③ A member will be responsible for compensating any losses incurred by the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic or by any other member for reasons attributable to the member.

Article 12 (Deletion of public posts)
If the contents of a public post uploaded by a member belongs to any of the following cases, the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic may delete the public post without giving advance notification to the member, and may restrict, suspend or cancel the membership eligibility of the member in question.

1. Contents that slander or damage the reputation of another member or a third party by libel.
2. Contents that distribute information, sentences, or images contrary to public order and morals
3. Contents judged to be related to criminal actions
4. Contents that violate the rights of other members or a third party such as copyrights
5. Contents clearly in pursuit of advertising or commercial purposes
5. Contents judged to be in violation of other relevant laws

Article 13 (Attribution of copyright and restriction of usage)
① The copyright and other intellectual property rights for contents created by the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic shall be attributed to be the property of the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic.

② Members are prohibited from using information obtained in the process of using the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic for profit or enable a third party to use the said information by means of reproducing, transmitting, publishing, distributing, broadcasting or other methods without the prior consent of the Wonjin AestheticPlastic Surgery Clinic.

Article 14 (Regulations regarding consultations)
① The contents of consultation conducted through the company’s services can be used for the following purposes after deleting any personal or identification information.
1) Scholarly or academic activities
2) Treatment activities
3) Medical services
4) Publication activities in the form of printed materials or CD-ROMs, etc.
5) FAQ or recommended consultations including portions of service content

② The clinic may deny all or part of its consultation services in cases where the user’s request for consultation belong to any of the following cases.
1) Cases where the user repeatedly requests consultations regarding the same content
2) Cases where the user applies for consultation using expressions that are contrary to common sense or using profanity
3) Cases where the user demands the name of a diagnosis
4) Cases where the user requests consultations regarding treatment costs, examination costs, or the effects or prices of pharmaceutical products
5) Cases where the user requests a consultation for the purpose of acquiring information with the intent to harm another individual

Article 15 (Revision of the Terms and Conditions)
① The Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic may revise the provisions of its Terms & Conditions under condition that the revisions do not violate the relevant laws of the Republic of Korea such as the Regulation of Standardized Contracts Act, Framework Act on Electronic Commerce, Digital Signature Act, and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection.

② If the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic revises these Terms & Conditions, the clinic shall publically notify users by posting the revisions including the effective date and the reasons for the revision alongside the existing Terms & Conditions on the initial screen of its website from 7 days prior to the effective date up to the day before the effective date.

③ If the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic revises the current Terms & Conditions, the revised Terms & Conditions shall apply to members who registered for membership prior to the implementation of revisions, under the condition that the revised contents do not violate any relevant laws.

④ Members who object to the revised Terms & Conditions can withdraw membership according to the procedures provided in Article 6 Paragraph 1.

Article 16 (Jurisdiction)
Lawsuits arising from a dispute between the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Clinic and a member regarding the usage of services shall be filed with a court of the Republic of the Korea with jurisdiction under the Code of Civil Procedure.

Supplementary Provisions

These Terms & Conditions shall enter into effect on October 30, 2002 and remain in effective use until the issuances of new Terms & Conditions.
